PUBLIC LAW

The “Public Law” department offers advice and representation before the administrative and civil courts.
Its clients include regional agencies, governmental departments, state-owned companies , public bodies districts (communes, public establishments for intercommunal cooperation, hospitals, semi-public companies and public corporations) as well as the service providers and partners of regional authorities (construction firms, associations, research consultancies, property developers, public service delegates in particular).
The department also advises foreign companies (mainly Italian), on the exercise of their activities in France.
The department advises on:
- setting up real estate operations, both for public owners (public bodies, hospitals, etc.) and private owners (property developers, investors, works companies), from land takeover (pre-emption, expropriation) to the completion of the works (signing of contracts, monitoring of the execution, acceptance, complaints, builders’ guarantees), taking into account environmental obligations,
- assistance from the regional authorities for the implementation of their public projects, through contractual engineering (analysis and choice of the legal arrangements and partners), the monitoring and control of the running of the public service; in particular, on tourist-related projects,
- public/private partnership, for the activities of private operators, semi-public companies, the actions of associations and other « satellites » of the regional authorities (installation of photovoltaic panels on public buildings, etc.).
