Mathieu LE TACON is co-leader of the “Tax law” department, in the Paris office.

He has developed acknowledged expertise in the following areas:
business tax law:
Ongoing advice to companies concerning corporation tax, VAT, CET (contribution économique territoriale – regional economic contribution), property taxes etc.,
Group tax issues, tax consolidation etc.,
Taxation of restructuring operations and company transfers,
Assistance with tax inspections and tax disputes,
Contact with the tax authorities (requests for approval, transactions, etc.).
asset taxation:
Tax optimisation and asset transfers,
Regularisation of foreign assets,
Transferring residence abroad,
Follow up of tax returns (personal income tax, wealth tax),
Assistance with tax inspections and tax disputes.
His main clients are industrial and service companies on one hand and individuals on the other hand.
Mathieu speaks fluent English.

At 38 years of age, Mathieu LE TACON is a graduate of the University of Toulouse I, where he obtained a DEA in Business Law and a DESS in Tax Law.

He was an associate with the firms Fidal (International Department - Paris) and PDGB (Paris) over a period of 8 years. He joined DELSOL Avocats at the beginning of January 2011.

He is a regular contributor to major tax journals (Droit Fiscal, Les Nouvelles Fiscales, etc.) and economic reviews. He has also been involved in the writing of several works, the last one concerning the tax aspects of "Réglementation automobile" (motor vehicle regulations) (L'argus de l'assurance, 2013/2014).

He leads tax training sessions (Francis Lefebvre Formation, EFE) and teaches on the University of Toulouse I DJCE course.

Mathieu is a member of IACF (Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux – Institute of Tax Lawyers), the DFCG (Association des Directeurs Financiers et de Contrôle de Gestion – Association of Finance Directors and Management Controllers) and of the Finance & Gestion editorial committee (law and regulations section).
