Philippe PACOTTE, aged 45, is co-leader of the “Employment Law – Social Welfare Law” department in Paris.

 
Areas of expertise:
- restructurings and international projects, integrating both the engineering specific to its subject and the awareness of the required synergies with the Mergers & acquisitions and Tax Law departments: transfers of head offices, mergers, LBO, business reorganisation, “due diligences” related to acquisition or transfer audits, etc.,
- advice on the management of human resources,
- social security arrangements,
- resolving disputes relating to working hours,
- individual or collective employment disputes.

Qualifications include :
- Post-graduate diploma (DESS) Droit et pratiques des relations de travail, 1993, University of Montpellier.


Work experience:
Philippe joined DELSOL Avocats in September 2009. Before then, he was an lawyer for ten years in employment law for some of the major French and Anglo-Saxon law firms in Paris, such as Barthélémy (1996 – 1998), Moquet-Borde (1998 – 1999), Latham & Watkins (1999 – 2005); he then worked as a partner in charge of the Employment Law department of Ares-Avocats (2005 - 2009). Philippe is a member of our firm’s board.

Lecturing:
- Professional training courses and seminars intended for the players of the employment law world, as well as in-house training for companies.
 
- Part-time lecturer in employment law at the University of Paris VIII (post-graduate course).
