Thomas ROCHE, who is 37, is a graduate of Jean Moulin Lyon III University where he obtained a post graduate (DESS) degree in business and tax law and a post graduate vocational degree (DJCE) as a business lawyer.
He commenced his legal career in 2000 with a six-month vacation placement in Montreal. He then joined Féry & Associés in Lyon where he worked as an associate.
Late 2002, he founded his own law firm Roche & Associés (later to become Roche Avocats), dedicating and developing the firm’s business to innovative technologies in the life sciences and information and communications technologies areas until 2013.

Due to his particular interest in bioethical issues, he keeps a blog geared towards medical research issues and law.

In 2012, the French magazine Décideurs Stratégie Finance Droit gave his firm a « High Repute » ranking for its work in the field of Health & the Internet and Regulatory law for health, pharmaceutical and medical devices.
The Anglo-Saxon Legal 500 Paris directory refers to his expertise as rare as he has accomplished seminal work in the very specialized field of biomedical research.
